Welcome to Drew Brown's FREE Camps! Our non-profit (501 c3) organization is dedicated to empowering kids through basketball fundamentals and academic success.

Tailored for girls in 2nd-8th grade and boys 2nd-6th grade (including rising 7th graders), our camps focus on essential skills, teamwork, nutrition, and mental wellbeing.

 

Drew Brown’s Free Basketball Camp has become a summer staple for youth in the Pontiac and Detroit area. Now in its 8th year the camp focuses on skill development, teamwork, and community, the camp offers boys and girls the opportunity to grow on and off the court—all at no cost to families. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your game or just have fun and meet new friends, this camp is the place to be.

About Andrew Brown

Drew Brown’s FREE Camps, founded by Andrew Brown II, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to harnessing the transformative power of basketball to inspire and uplift the next generation.

 

With 17 years of collegiate coaching experience, Andrew, a proud native of Pontiac, Michigan, understands that the lessons learned on the court extend well beyond the game itself.

 

A former three-time Atlantic SUN All-Academic Team selection and a standout player at Mercer University, Andrew combines his passion for basketball with a commitment to education, holding a Bachelor of Arts and a two Master’s degrees in education.
